Indiana lands transfer commitment from standout WR out of Fordham
Indiana picked up yet another transfer commitment on Saturday. This time, it was from a former Fordham wideout.
Dequece Carter comes to Bloomington after having a breakout year. Carter caught 56 passes for 1,166 yards receiving and 13 touchdowns this season. Carter brings plenty of experience with him as well, appearing in 38 games for the Rams.
Carter was named First-Team All-Patriot League in 2021 and 2022 after consecutive solid seasons at Fordham.

Maybe some WR transfers are what Indiana needs to improve the passing game. The Hoosiers averaged 217.4 yards passing per game this season. Indiana recently added former Clemson WR E.J. Williams to its ranks as well.
Other recent transfer additions include former Wake Forest RB Christian Turner and former Stanford DB Nicolas Toomer. It’s safe to say there will be plenty of new faces in Bloomington next season.
Indiana missed a bowl game for the second season in a row after finishing the year at 4-8.
