Indiana LB and son of head coach Tom Allen carted off field in Michigan State game
Indiana linebacker Thomas Allen was carted off the field with a leg injury during the Hoosiers’ game against Michigan State on Saturday.
Allen is the son of IU head coach Tom Allen. As he was being loaded on the cart, he shared an embrace with his father:

That’s an emotional moment for the Allen family. He also missed time last season with a shoulder injury.
Allen entered today’s game with six tackles on the season.
Indiana holds a 24-0 lead over Michigan State through three quarters. If the Hoosiers hold on, it will set up a meeting of the only remaining undefeated teams in the Big Ten East next week at Ohio State.
