Indiana makes a positional coaching change midway through the 2022 season
The Indiana Hoosiers (3-3; 1-2 in B1G play) are halfway through their 2022 season and are already undergoing some significant changes.
After Indiana lost at home 31-10 to No. 4 Michigan, head coach Tom Allen has fired offensive line coach/run game coordinator Darren Hiller. He will be replaced by former NIU and Temple head coach Rod Carey, according to Action Network’s Brett McMurphy.

Through the first 6 games of the season, Indiana ranks 124th in the nation in rushing yards per game (90.8), which is the second worst in the B1G ahead of Iowa.
In the loss to Michigan, Indiana rushed for 19 yards on 25 carries for an average of 0.8 yards per carry. In the 35-21 loss at Nebraska the week before, the offense of Indiana rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.
Indiana has rushed for 545 yard and 7 touchdowns on 183 carries through the first 6 games of the season.
