Indiana has had a tough start to the 2019 season. The Hoosiers may be 3-1, but it hasn’t been an exciting 3-1.

In the non-conference, Indiana started out by beating Kent State 34-24 and then crushing both Eastern Illinois and UConn. In between the Eastern Illinois and UConn shellackings, the team lost to Ohio State 51-10. It was ugly.

Starting against Ohio State was Peyton Ramsey, who was backing up Michael Penix Jr. to start the season. Penix has missed the last two games with a hand injury and was reportedly close to coming back and starting for the Hoosiers a week ago.

Now, ahead of the game vs. Michigan State, it was announced that Penix will indeed return:

Penix is 38-of-60 for 523 yards, 3 TD and 2 INT this season.

The game is being televised on BTN.
