Indiana football is now 3-0, having won all 3 games by exactly 3 points

The Hoosiers had to work for it, too. Charles Campbell, Indiana’s automatic senior kicker, nailed a 51-yard field goal to win it in overtime. Campbell finished 4-for-4 on the afternoon.

Indiana’s special teams really did win the day in an otherwise even matchup against the Hilltoppers. In addition to nailing their own 51-yarder, the special teams unit blocked Western Kentucky’s game-winning attempt earlier in the overtime period. It was a 39-yard attempt.

Head coach Tom Allen raved about Campbell postgame. He knew it was going through the uprights.
