Indiana offensive coordinator Walt Bell appeared stumped by a question Monday afternoon at Indiana’s Monday media availabilities.

The question regarded Indiana’s bowl chances, specifically what he and the offensive line have to adjust to see Indiana reach 6 wins by the end of the year.

His answer – or perhaps how he answered – didn’t exactly inspire confidence.

The Hoosiers are 3-1 on the year with a lone loss to Cincinnati in Week 4. Still, fierce competition awaits and Indiana will be struggling to reach 6 wins by the end of the year.

There are opportunities, though. Indiana has Rutgers, Purdue and Nebraska on the schedule, games that can squeak them to the 6-win mark if the offense can get its act together under Bell.
