Indiana PG Rob Phinisee shares message to fans after leaving Wednesday game with injury
Indiana defeated Penn State 74-57 on Wednesday night, but an injury to Hoosiers point guard Rob Phinisee put a damper on the victory.
Phinisee left the game with 7:21 remaining in the first half. He had to be helped off the court, unable to put any weight on his right leg.

“Don’t know right now,” Hoosiers coach Mike Woodson said of Phinisee’s diagnosis after the game. “He has to be evaluated probably sometime tomorrow, and somehow we’ve got to get Khristian (Lander) ready because he is not able to play either. That’s why he didn’t play tonight, so we’ve got to get one of them back. I don’t know when, but my theme has been all season it’s the next man up. We’ve just got to mix and match based on who we got in uniform. It’s kind of how I look at it.”
