Indiana adds commitment from in-state 4-star defensive end
It’s not every day that Indiana lands a 4-star recruit.
Let me rephrase that. It’s not every day that Indiana football* lands a 4-star recruit.
But on Friday, that’s exactly what the Hoosiers did. Indiana got a commitment from 4-star Carmel (Ind.) defensive end Beau Robbins.
He made the announcement on Twitter:
Thank you to everyone who's helped me throughout this process… I'm very excited to announce my commitment to Indiana University!! #IUnit19 pic.twitter.com/DIBqBMNX3t

Robbins is the No. 18 weak-side defensive end and the No. 256 recruit overall in the 2019 class. The 6-4, 238-pound junior is the No. 4 recruit in the state of Indiana. As a junior, Robbins had 11 sacks and 58 tackles.
He has offers from the likes of Iowa, Michigan State, Nebraska and others. Robbins was Indiana’s third 2019 commitment, and first from the Hoosier State.
If Robbins signs with the Hoosiers, he’ll be the first 4-star recruit of the Tom Allen era.
