Indiana picks up pledge from 2024 in-state RB
Indiana figured out that sometimes it’s better to just stay home on Friday.
The Hoosiers earned a commitment from 2024 3-star running back Khobie Martin. Martin hails from Fishers (Ind.) and is the No. 20 player from the state of Indiana, per the 247Sports Composite.
Martin picked Indiana over the likes of Miami (OH), Austin Peay, Ball State, Eastern Kentucky, and Illinois State. The Hoosiers were the only Power 5 school that showed interest in Martin.

The in-state prospect originally committed to the Redhawks back in April. Martin decommitted on Sept. 17, however.
Martin had 1,194 yards rushing with 16 touchdowns last season, according to 247Sports.
Indiana is trying to make a bowl game for the first time since 2020 this season. Tom Allen has gotten his team off to a 1-2 start through three games. The Hoosiers head back home to face Akron in Week 4.
