A little bit of history was made in Bloomington on Saturday.

Indiana scheduled Charleston Southern as a late addition to its 2017 schedule after the game against Florida International had been canceled earlier this season due to Hurricane Irma. The Hoosiers took advantage of the opportunity.

For the first time since 1993, Indiana held an opponent scoreless, beating Charleston Southern 27-0 to improve to 3-2 on the year. Not only did the Buccaneers not score a point, they had zero passing yards and didn’t complete a single pass in the game. That’s defensive dominance.

The shutout win should give the Hoosiers some confidence heading into next week’s game against Michigan.

Indiana is still searching for its first B1G win of the season.
