Indiana has dismissed strength and conditioning coach Keith Caton, according to reports on Friday.

Matthew Weaver of Peegs.com reported that Caton had been let go early Friday afternoon. He had served as the strength and conditioning coach for the Hoosiers since 2016. He was hired by former IU head coach Kevin Wilson.

Peegs.com also had a statement from head coach Tom Allen on the dismissal.

“I would like to thank Keith Caton for his service to Indiana University and to our football program over the last two years. I have a lot of respect for him as a husband and a father. Keith is a tremendous person and I wish him nothing but the very best moving forward.”

Before coming to Indiana, Caton was at Baylor, where he served as the director of football for athletic performance. He was in that position for four seasons.

Caton has been associated with several football programs, including Auburn, Missouri and Western Kentucky.
