Indiana sets multiple records in Old Oaken Bucket shutout vs. Purdue
Indiana capped off the best season in school history in style, as the Hoosiers knocked off rival Purdue in dominating fashion on Saturday. The Hoosiers set multiple records in the Old Oaken Bucken rivalry during the 66-0 win against the Boilermakers.
The first record that was set was the largest point differential for Indiana in any game in this series, while also scoring the most points ever by the Hoosiers in this series. A huge reason why the team scored so many points was another record-setting performance by quarterback Kurtis Rourke.

Rourke finished the day 23-of-31 for 349 yards while tying a school record with 6 passing touchdowns. His number 1 target on the day was wide receiver Elijah Sarratt, who finished with 8 catches for 165 yards and 2 touchdowns.
It was a complete domination, as the Hoosiers’ 66 points were nearly the amount of yards that Purdue had in the game (67).
Indiana finishes the season 11-1 and is all but assured of being in the College Football Playoff. The Hoosiers will not be in the B1G Championship Game next week, as Oregon and Penn State will be in that game.
This is the 1st season for coach Curt Cignetti, who figures to be a candidate in any Coach of the Year Award there is in college football.
