Indiana stays hot in the transfer portal, lands former UNC running back
Indiana has been incredibly active in the transfer portal this winter as head coach Tom Allen tries to quickly turn around what was a poor 2021 campaign. The Hoosiers are up to 7 transfer additions now, with the latest coming by way of Josh Henderson.
A running back from North Carolina, Henderson announced on Sunday he has committed to the Hoosiers.

Henderson signed with North Carolina out of 2019 class. A former 3-star prospect and New Jersey native, Henderson appeared in 24 games over 3 seasons with the Tar Heel program. He logged 41 rushing attempts for 209 yards (5.1 per carry).
It’s the 2nd running back the Hoosiers have pulled from the portal since the season ended, with Henderson joining former Auburn running back Shaun Shivers. Shivers played in 43 games for the Tigers from 2018 to 2021. He totaled 201 runs for 1,020 yards and 8 scores.
IU’s leading rusher this year had just 600 yards with a 3.9 yards-per-carry average. The Hoosiers ended the year 2-10.
