Indiana will take the hardwood at Assembly Hall with a slightly different look in its next home game.

On Friday, the men’s basketball program announced it will wear an alternate uniform for Saturday’s home contest against No. 18 Illinois. The Hoosiers will also sport an alternate look near the end of the month, when it hosts Maryland on Feb. 24.

Saturday, Indiana will wear a specially-made “Cream” jersey against Illinois. At the end of the month, the Hoosiers will wear an “Honoring Black Excellence” uniform designed by Adidas.

“We greatly appreciate our partnership with adidas and welcome the opportunity to team with them to feature three alternate uniforms during the 2021-22 season,” said IU athletic director Scott Dolson. “Not only do these special uniforms recognize the contributions of so many both inside and outside our program, but they also offer something different and special to our current student-athletes.”

Indiana is scheduled to take on Illinois at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday with the game airing on ESPN. The Hoosiers are winners in four of their last five games.

Illinois sits atop the B1G standings at 9-2.
