Indiana unveils uniform combination for season-opening road trip vs. Iowa
Indiana is heading toward Saturday’s season opener, and the Hoosiers’ official Twitter account revealed the uniform combination Saturday morning.
To start the season, Indiana will be on the road to face Iowa inside the tough confines of Kinnick Stadium. It will be a great early test for both teams after the Hoosiers and Hawkeyes both posted winning records in 2020.
Fortunately for the Hoosiers, head coach Tom Allen indicated that every player who sustained a season-ending injury last year will be ready for the opener. That includes starting quarterback Michael Penix Jr., Thomas Allen, and a pair of defensive backs.
As for the uniforms, Indiana will be rolling out the white jersey and white pants look, accentuated by a red helmet and red spikes. Check it out:
