It came down to the final possession, but Indiana women’s basketball head coach Teri Moren notched her 100th win with the program on Thursday night.

The Hoosiers knocked off No. 10 Iowa at Assembly Hall 75-73, thanks to a game-winning bucket from Bendu Yeaney with 3.8 seconds left in the game. The victory snapped a four-game losing streak for IU.

The victory marked the 100th for Moren as the head coach at Indiana. She’s in her fifth season with the program. The Hoosiers are currently 18-10 on the year and 7-9 in B1G play.

Moren now has 299 career wins as a college head coach.

Prior to arriving at Indiana, Moren was the head coach at Indiana State (2010-14) and University of Indianapolis (2000-07). She also served as an assistant coach at Georgia Tech from 2007-10.

Moren will have two more opportunities in the regular season to notch her 300th career win. The Hoosiers travel to Northwestern next Tuesday before closing out the season at home against rival Purdue on Sunday, March 3.
