Records were meant to be broken.

And not that a record was necessarily broken during Indiana’s game against Ball State on Saturday, but a notable milestone was achieved.

In the first half, Indiana WR Luke Timian caught his 100th pass as a Hoosier and to go along with his 1,000 career receiving yards, became the 22nd player in program history to record 100 career catches and 1,000 yards.

The senior from Southlake, Texas caught his third pass of the day to get to the 100-catch mark and he went on to catch two more in the first half. Indiana has a 24-3 lead at halftime and Timian has 5 catches for 56 yards in the contest.

Indiana-Ball State can be seen on BTN.
