Indiana is 6-2 right now. Part of the reason for the team’s massive success this season is because of its wide receiving corps.

In particular, Nick Westbrook is always consistent. He has been for years.

The senior, entering Saturday night’s game against Northwestern, had caught 123 passes for 1,948 yards and 15 TD. He only needed 52 yards against the Wildcats to secure 2,000 receiving yards for a career and he hit that in the first half:

Westbrook is one of many successful Indiana receivers, which again, is part of why the Hoosiers have been good this season. To be the ninth pass-catcher in school history to accomplish anything should be applauded.

Westbrook will likely hold off on applauding himself until the team’s season is over. And this year, that will happen after the bowls have concluded.
