Indiana had their worst first half of the season against Ole Miss in the Outback Bowl today.

The Hoosiers were held to just three points as they trail the Rebels by 10 at the break. Even worse, quarterback Jack Tuttle was held to just 84 yards passing with no touchdown passes and one interception.

Indiana also only had 57 yards rushing in the half, with 28 of those yards coming from running back Stevie Scott. For total yards, Indiana had only 141 with just eight first downs. They were also only 4-for-9 on third downs.

That vaunted Hoosiers defense wasn’t much better either as Rebels quarterback Matt Corral had a field day. He went 22-for-33 passing for 235 yards and a touchdown pass.

Indiana’s going to need to put up a much better effort in the second half if they are to come back and win this game. The second half can be seen on ABC.
