As the wins continue to pile up in Bloomington, Tom Allen’s bank account gets a little healthier.

On Saturday night, Indiana registered a 34-3 victory over Northwestern to improve to 7-2 on the season, the program’s best start since 1993. It marked the fourth straight victory for the Hoosiers, and likely improved the team’s bowl destination this postseason.

It also resulted in a $100,000 bonus for Allen, his second bonus of the season.

Last week, Allen received his first bonus for getting Indiana to bowl eligibility. The Hoosiers notched a 38-31 road victory over Nebraska to hit the all-important six-win mark. Allen has now received $200,000 in bonuses for his team’s performance this season.

Allen will continue to receive $100,000 in bonus money for each additional win this season. Indiana has games against Penn State, Michigan and Purdue remaining. The Hoosiers will have next week off before traveling to Happy Valley.
