According to the Indy Star, Indiana kicker Aaron Del Grosso was arrested for public intoxication and criminal trespassing early Wednesday morning.

The Star reported that Bloomington Police showed up to the 400 block of the Ind. 45/46 Bypass because of a dispute between Del Grosso and his ex-girlfriend over ownership of a dog. After declaring it a civil dispute, Del Grosso was reportedly asked by police to leave his ex-girlfriend’s residence, which he did.

But upon returning to the residence, Del Grosso was arrested.

Del Grosso was booked into the local jail at 3:33 a.m. As of the time the Indy Star reported the story, 12:15 p.m., Del Grosso was still in jail.

The junior isn’t the starting kicker for the Hoosiers anymore. Griffin Oakes, last year’s B1G Kicker of the Year, won that job after the first three games of 2014. Del Grosso did get into last week’s game against Ball State in the fourth quarter.

It remains to be seen what sort of punishment he’ll face from the team.
