Indiana at least has one thing to celebrate today even though their Outback Bowl is going terribly.

Hoosiers kicker Charles Campbell converted on a 53-yard field goal to cut the Ole Miss lead to seven (for a time). It’s the longest in Hoosiers history and also set a record for the longest kick made at the Outback Bowl:

For the season, this was Campbell’s second kick of 50+ yards that was converted. The previous one came against Michigan on Nov. 7. He’s also hit on all 23 of his extra-point attempts this season. Field goals wise, he was 8-for-9 coming into this game.

After this kick got Indiana back in the game though, Ole Miss would go on to extend their lead to two touchdowns. The Rebels are now up 20-6 on the Hoosiers as the game gets closer to the end of the third quarter.
