Indiana announced that Race Thompson and Parker Stewart will give Senior Day speeches on Wednesday night, but explained that it does not definitively mean they are moving on from the Hoosiers’ program.

Meanwhile, coach Mike Woodson said he hasn’t had any discussions with players about who will stay and who will go next year.

“It’s chaotic about how this thing is going to play out,” he said. “All I can do is wait until the season is over and see where we are as a ball club. I’m obligated as their coach to help them, whether it’s going on to play professional basketball or entering the job market. … I can’t give you a definitive answer. Basketball is so different in regards to this (transfer) portal.”

Stewart has averaged 23.9 minutes per game, and 6.8 points and 2 rebounds per game. Thompson has averaged 29 minutes per game, along with 11.9 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.

About Thompson, Woodson said, “He’s been one of the most consistent players in the Big Ten. He’s been very consistent in terms of how he’s played and we’ve all benefitted from it.”
