With Michael Penix Jr. out with a shoulder injury, Jack Tuttle jumped under center for Indiana.

Now, the Hoosiers are getting their 3rd-string quarterback ready.

Tuttle threw a touchdown pass to Peyton Hendershot to tie the game 7-7 in the 1st quarter, but took a shot after he completed the throw.

Tuttle walked off under his own power, which is a great sign. So far, he has completed 4 of 7 passes for 41 yards and a touchdown in the primetime showdown with Ohio State.

Indiana turned to Donaven McCulley on its next series after Tuttle’s injury. He already saw the field against Ohio State, running for 15 yards on his lone carry before coming in to replace Tuttle.

Ohio State scored on the next drive to re-take the lead, 14-7, on ABC.
