Julius Randle still has a lot of love for his former coach.

Indiana’s Mike Woodson was on the Knicks coaching staff earlier this season before taking the Hoosiers job. New York welcomed him back to Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night, and Randle had a special gift for him.

After the game — which was an overtime thriller — Randle signed his game-worn jersey and presented it to Woodson on the court.

This comes after Randle had one of the most remarkable games of his entire career. He scored 40 points in a 137-127 win over the Hawks, propelling the Knicks into the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Of course, Woodson has had other stints with the Knicks as well. He was their head coach from 2012-14 and was an assistant for the year prior. He was also drafted by the Knicks with the 12th overall pick in the 1980 NBA Draft.

The Knicks are currently the No. 4 seed in the East and could win a playoff series for the first time since 2013.
