Penn State will be looking for some revenge vs. Indiana on Saturday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions lost to IU in overtime to open the 2020 season last year, and it sent them into a tailspin. Penn State started the year 0-5 before winning its final four games of the season.

However, Penn State is a double-digit favorite vs. the Hoosiers on Saturday. The reason? Indiana has struggled offensively at times this year, and it has a lot to do with turnovers by quarterback Michael Penix Jr.

Penix Jr. has 4 touchdowns and 6 interceptions so far this season.

On College GameDay, Kirk Herbstreit said Penix Jr. and the Hoosiers will have to limit their turnovers if they want to have a chance at a second-straight win over Penn State.

“[Penn State is ] going up against Indiana, who has got to take care of the football,” Herbstreit said. “It’s been an issue for Penix. He’s got the ability, he’s got weapons, but he’s gotta take care of the ball if they have a chance.”

Penn State is +5 in turnover margin this season, which is good enough for third in the Big Ten entering this week.

Kick off is at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
