Indiana is off to an unexpected 1-0 start after upsetting Penn State last week 36-35. It was their first win over a top 10 team since 1987 and their first win over a top 10 team at Memorial Stadium since 1967.

Following that, College Gameday analyst Kirk Herbstreit talked about the culture of the Hoosiers program under head coach Tom Allen this morning.

He said, “That word culture, everyone might say it, that’s an example when you hear your players say ‘we love you coach’ and it comes from the heart after a big win. And the way they won that game, speaks to the culture in that program.”

In that game last week, Indiana decided to go for two in the overtime and not play for double overtime against the Nittany Lions.

Indiana travels to Rutgers for their second game of the season today. The game will be on FS1 at 3:30 p.m. ET.
