Indiana DT has suspension lifted
It turns out “indefinite” means “one game.”
Indiana announced that defensive tackle Darius Latham had his suspension lifted on Friday and he’ll be eligible to play against Penn State on Saturday.
The release said the team would have no further comment on the matter.
Latham has already served two suspensions this year. Both suspensions were for a violation of team rules.
Despite the fact that Latham has missed two of Indiana’s five games this year, he has five tackles for loss and two sacks. The Hoosiers could’ve used him last week against No. 1 Ohio State when Ezekiel Elliott went off for a career-high 274 yards and three touchdowns.
Latham and the Hoosiers will look to contain Penn State in their first B1G road game of the year.
