Indiana basketball is honoring long-time sportswriter Terry Hutchens during Wednesday night’s game.
Hutchens has covered Hoosiers athletics over the years and currently writes for CNHI Sports. He was also critically injured in a car wreck this week and remains in critical condition.
Following news of the crash, many offered up their thoughts and prayers for Hutchens and his family. In order to show their support, the Hoosiers decided to leave Hutchens’ media seat vacant for Wednesday’s game out of respect.
It really is an awesome gesture with BTN sharing a photo of the open seat:
Well done, @IndianaMBB.
