Louis Moore spent 2 years at Indiana before transferring to Ole Miss ahead of the 2024 season.

Now, the Texas native is poised to head back to Bloomington. Moore will rejoin the Hoosiers for his final year of eligibility, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.

Moore’s collegiate career actually began in his home state. He initially played for Navarro College in 2020 and 2021, starting out as a wide receiver before seeing time at safety in his second year there.

He then left the JUCO ranks to play for Indiana, where he played in every game in 2022 and 2023. In 2023, he emerged as a key defender for the Hoosiers, recording 83 tackles — second on the squad — and 3 interceptions.

Moore then entered the transfer portal, landing in Oxford. In his lone season at Ole Miss, he made 33 tackles in 10 games as he dealt with injury.

Now, Moore will head to an Indiana team vastly different from the one he left. Curt Cignetti led the Hoosiers to an 11-2 mark and a College Football Playoff berth in his first season.

With the Hoosiers on the rise, Moore will look to end his college career in familiar territory.
