Indiana announces sellout for Ohio State game
For the first time in five years, Memorial Stadium will be full.
Indiana announced on Friday that Saturday’s game against No. 1 Ohio State will be sold out. The last time the Hoosiers hosted a sellout game was against Michigan in 2010.
It will mark the second time since Memorial Stadium’s 2008 expansion that an IU home game will be sold out. The 52,929-capacity stadium hasn’t even hit the 50,000-plateau in Kevin Wilson’s five seasons in Bloomington.
Saturday will be the first time in which Indiana is hosting the No. 1 team since 1998. That day saw 52,049 fans file into Memorial Stadium.
The Hoosiers are 4-0 for the first time since 1990. The kickoff time is set for 3:30 p.m. ET and will be on ABC or ESPN2, depending on the market.
