Mike Woodson talked about something that Indiana needs to make sure it takes care of this season, free throws. The Hoosiers finished dead last in free throw percentage in the B1G last season.

Indiana made 70% of its free throws in 2021, which ranked 14th in the B1G. Woodson talked about how important it is to make them. He believes all it comes down to is relaxation.

“Free throws are important,” said Woodson. “They’re free. I gotta just get these guys to relax and make them.”

The Hoosiers will be looking to return to the NCAA Tournament after breaking a six-year absence in 2021. Indiana finished 9th in the B1G with a 21-14 record and made it to the First Round of March Madness before losing to St. Mary’s.

Trayce Jackson-Davis and company are looking to put Indiana basketball back on top.

Indiana’s season tips off on Nov. 7 against Morehead State at 7 p.m. ET. No channel has been announced for the team’s season opener just yet.
