Mike Woodson provided a positive update concerning one of Indiana’s key playmakers, Trayce Jackson-Davis.

During a press conference on Tuesday morning, Woodson didn’t shy away from acknowledging Jackson-Davis’ status and when he can expect to potentially be back on the floor for Indiana. Woodson indicated Jackson-Davis recently returned to full-contact practice, a key step in his return:

He’s been doing some things on the floor, but not a lot of contact. We had a lot of contact yesterday, and today we’ll have a lot of contact, a little scrimmage, and just see where he is.

Jackson-Davis has not played in the last three games for the Hoosiers due to a back issue that has been lingering. He earned a whopping triple-double against Nebraska and a solid 9 blocks against Kansas, the last game he ended up playing before missing the remaining games.

No. 15 Indiana will travel to Iowa on Thursday at 9 p.m. ET, and there is no word yet if Jackson-Davis will be back on the floor.

We will stay updated on what happens for the Hoosiers squad and how the next 18-game B1G slate will fare.
