Mike Woodson reveals how freshman Jalen Hood-Schifino will fit into Hoosiers’ rotation
Mike Woodson is trying to work on how to fit Jalen Hood-Schifino into the rotation in Bloomington. The former 5-star recruit has been moved around a lot at Indiana says Indy Stars’ Zach Osterman.
Hood-Schifino is one of the better additions from 2022 recruiting class for the Hoosiers. Indiana finished just behind Ohio State for the best 2022 class in the B1G, per 247Sports.
Woodson revealed that the team has been trying out Hood-Schifino with the starters and second team at this point in the offseason. One of the things that Woodson likes about him is that he can do a lot of different things.
“We’re trying to look at combinations,” said Woodson. “He’s been a great addition to our ballclub, because he does a lot of different things for our team.”

Indiana basketball returned to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in six years in Woodson’s first season. The Hoosiers eventually lost to St. Mary’s, but still made some progress as a program.
Fans will be hoping that the Hoosiers can build off of last season and make another run. Indiana’s season starts on Nov. 7 against Morehead State.
