Indiana’s 2016 class needed to add some talented skill players before National Signing Day.

On Sunday, they got some help with that.

Three-star athlete Jonah Morris became the top-rated 2016 recruit in Indiana’s class when he announced his commitment to the program.

The Akron, Ohio native was recruited by Ohio State and he was also committed to Michigan State up until November. But when Ohio State landed four-star wide receiver Binjimen Victor last Monday, the Buckeyes ran out of spots at the position.

That opened the door for Indiana to land the three-star 2016 recruit (247sports) following his official visit to Bloomington over the weekend.

According to 247sports, the 6-4, 196-pound wideout is the 385th player overall and he’s the 18th-rated athlete in the 2016 class. On Scout.com, Morris is rated a four-star athlete.

Either way, he’s the highest rated recruit for the Hoosiers since Dominique Booth in 2014.

As he always is, Kevin Wilson was fired up about the addition.
