Race Thompson offers injury update after reentering Little Rock game
Race Thompson had a cut on his head that started bleeding after a play in the 1st half of the Little Rock game. He tried to offer some insight into what happened per Rivals’ Alec Lasley.
Thompson actually ended up leaving the game for a little bit, but returned late in the 1st half and played during the 2nd half. Thompson didn’t really see the replay of what happened and thinks that an elbow was the reason for his gash.
“Honestly, I don’t know,” said Thompson. “I didn’t really see the replay. I think it was somebody’s elbow, but I don’t know. I’ve got just a big ol’ gash right here, but I’m good.”

Luckily Thompson said that he feels good. Thompson returned with a headband on and finished the game with 20 points and 8 assists.
With Indiana already without Trayce Jackson-Davis for the game it was a good sign that Thompson was still able to play.
