Trayce Jackson-Davis came to B1G Basketball Media Days with the intention of dressing to impress. He showed up to the event wearing a candy stripe jacket that raised some eyebrows.

The outfit selection had to do with the team’s media guy J.D. Campbell. Campbell told the players that they would be getting tailored suits. Jackson-Davis asked him if there was any chance he could get a candy striped one, and the rest is history.

“JD Campbell, our media guy, he told us we were gonna get tailored suits, so I went in and I asked you got any candy stripes,” said Jackson-Davis. “He said ‘I’ve got the perfect thing for you.’ He brought it in and I said ‘Yep, we gonna rock with this one.'”

Indiana will be looking to maximize on Jackson-Davis’ talent along with the new additions from its 2022 recruiting class. Jalen Hood-Schifino highlights that class as a 5-star CG on 247Sports.
