Indiana point guard Xavier Johnson was reportedly arrested Saturday night. According to multiple outlets, Monroe County Correctional Center records show Johnson was arrested and charged with reckless driving and resisting law enforcement.

Dustin Dopirak of The Herald-Times details that Johnson was released from the Monroe County Jail at 10:32 a.m., on Sunday on $2,000 surety, $500 cash bond. The Herald-Times had not yet obtained an incident report from the Bloomington Police Department.

IU released a statement acknowledging Johnson’s arrest:

Johnson transferred to Indiana from Pittsburgh. This season, he was second on the team in scoring with 12.1 points per game, while leading the Hoosiers with 5.1 assists per contest. Johnson has a year of college eligibility remaining.
