The Hoosiers are going to be short at least 1 defensive back for the rest of the season.

According to Mike Farrell of Rivals, Larry Tracy has entered the transfer portal after playing in 15 games for Indiana. Most of his snaps came on special teams.

Tracy was part of the 2019 recruiting class and was ranked as the No. 12 player in his home state (Indiana) per 247Sports Composite. He also was the No. 78 cornerback in the country and the No. 878 overall player, regardless of position.

Tracy has only recorded 1 tackle this season and it came against Idaho on Sept. 11.

Prior to committing to Indiana, Tracy had interest from several other top schools, including Iowa, Minnesota, Cincinnati, Purdue, and Syracuse.
