Report: Indiana DB steps away from football due to injuries
A’Shon Riggins was a starting defensive back for the Indiana Hoosiers at one point in time.
On Monday, it was announced that Riggins would be stepping away from the playing field, but staying with the team:

Riggins dealt with concussion issues in 2017 and became a new dad over this past offseason. Riggins was a member of the Hoosiers’ 2016 recruiting class and according to 247Sports, was a 3-star recruit from Hamilton, Ohio.
The senior hasn’t appeared in a game this season after accounting for 20 total tackles and three pass deflections last year. He also registered 37 tackles, nine pass deflections, a sack, a forced fumble and an interception as a freshman in 2016.
