An Indiana defender will reportedly look at playing elsewhere after 4 years with the Hoosiers.

Defensive lineman Jonathan King has reportedly entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal, according to Zach Osterman of The Indianapolis Star.

King, out of Tampa Bay Tech in Florida, signed as part of Indiana’s 2018 recruiting class. He was a 3-star recruit with 21 scholarship offers, rated the No. 733 prospect overall nationally in that class on the 247Sports Composite.

King redshirted his first season with the Hoosiers. Over the next 3 seasons, he appeared in 16 games. In 2019, as a redshirt freshman, he played in 7 games at defensive tackle, logging a pass breakup against Northwestern. King played in 8 games in 2020, posting 6 tackles, a sack and an interception. This past season, he only played in the Idaho game.
