Indiana sophomore forward Damezi Anderson will be looking for a new home.

Anderson announced on Thursday his plan to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal. He has been with the Hoosiers since the 2018-19 season and has appeared in 39 career games.

Anderson played in 18 contests for the Hoosiers last season, averaging 2.8 points and 2.2 rebounds in just over 12 minutes of action per game. He also shot 31.5 percent from the floor.

In his freshman season at IU, Anderson averaged just under 10 minutes per contest and averaged 1.5 points and 1.1 rebounds per game. He appeared in 21 games that season.

A native of South Bend, Indiana, Anderson was  a four-star small forward out of high school and was one of the top 125 players in the 2018 recruiting class. The 6-foot-7 Indiana native was also the No. 3 player from his home state.
