Another Indiana basketball player has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal, becoming the third Hoosier to do so since the firing of head coach Archie Miller.

Jeff Goodman of Stadium reported that Parker Stewart, who transferred to Indiana from University of Tennessee-Martin midway through the season, is back in the portal. He could still stay in Bloomington depending on who the athletic department hires as next head coach, but he’s still exploring his options.

Stewart joins Al Durham and Armaan Franklin in the transfer portal. Durham announced his departure last week and Franklin entered his name into the database earlier this week.

Stewart transferred to Indiana in December and joined the squad as a graduate transfer with two years of eligibility remaining. He transferred from UT-Martin after the passing of his father, Anthony, who was the team’s head coach.

Stewart did not play for the Hoosiers during the 2020-21 season.

During the 2019-20 season at UT-Martin, Stewart played in 25 games with 24 starts. He averaged 19.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per contest during the year.
