Tom Allen addresses Cam Camper's departure due to injury during loss to Rutgers
Cam Camper was forced to exit due to injury in Indiana’s Week 8 matchup with Rutgers.
Camper leads the Hoosiers in receptions and receiving yards with 41 catches for 526 yards and 2 TDs entering Week 8. Before exiting against Rutgers, Camper collected 5 catches for 43 yards.
The extent of the injury is not yet known, according to HC Tom Allen.
Allen on Cam Camper: “He’s a special player. Don’t know the extent of the injury yet. Obviously lost him for the rest of this game. … It’s been a noticeable difference when he’s in there.”

Losing Camper for any period would significantly damper an already-underwhelming Hoosier offense.
Indiana suffered another tough loss in Week 8, falling to Rutgers 24-17. The loss marks the 5th-straight for the Hoosiers, who fall to 3-5 on the season and 1-4 in B1G play.
The Hoosiers will be on bye in Week 9 and will hope to have their star WR back for the Week 10 matchup with Penn State.
