Tom Allen discusses Indiana moving to a new level of expectations
The tide appears to be turning in the right direction for Indiana. After 11 consecutive losing seasons, Indiana experienced a revival with an 8-5 record in 2019 and a 6-2 record in 2020.
Because of this newfound success, Indiana coach Tom Allen believes his team transformed into an encouraging collective mindset.
Asked about expectations, Allen said his team is going through a transition intangibly between “believing” in success to “expecting” it by their talent, work ethic, etc. #iufb

This is a major progression for a program that previously has traditionally been a cellar dweller. Indiana is now a team that opponents have to respect. Kudos to Allen and his staff for instilling confidence in the roster and credit to the players for elevating their games.
If Indiana posts a winning record in 2021, it would make program history. Indiana has never had three consecutive winning seasons since joining the B1G in 1953.
The road to that journey begins on Sept. 4 when Indiana faces host Iowa (3:30 p.m. EST/BTN).
