Indiana head coach Tom Allen gave the media an update on his two starting defensive backs, Tiawan Mullen and Reese Taylor, and the news doesn’t look too good.

Allen is hopeful the pair will be available this weekend against No. 5 Ohio State but he still isn’t sure just yet that they will be.

Mullen missed the Penn State and Michigan State games. Taylor attempted to play against the Spartans but was only able to make it through one drive.

Since their loss to Oregon back on September 11th, the Buckeyes have won all 4 games and quarterback CJ Stroud has thrown 5 touchdowns in back-to-back games against Maryland and Rutgers.

For the season, Stroud has thrown for nearly 1700 yards and 18 touchdowns. The Buckeyes are now on the verge of being part of the 4 team playoff again and winning the Big Ten.

If Mullen and Taylor miss the game this weekend because of injuries, it may be a long day for the Hoosiers’ defense, especially their secondary.
