Tom Allen has update on 2 key Hoosiers heading into Idaho matchup
The Indiana Hoosiers provided injuries updates on key players ahead of their home opener vs. Idaho.
David Ellis RB/KR and Luke Haggard on the OL are expected to start against the Vandals Saturday night.
Ellis is returning from a lower leg injury and did not play last Saturday against the Iowa Hawkeyes in the B1G opener.

In three seasons with the Hoosiers Ellis, has 29 kick returns for 604 yards for an average of 20.8 yards per return and 0 touchdowns.
Haggard is a 6-foot-7, 305-pound OL from Petaluma, CA. He was a 3-star prospect coming out of JUCO and the 14 OT in the class of 2020 according to 247sports composite rankings.
Luke Haggard is back and “had a really good week.” He’ll start against Idaho, though Allen declines to specify what the full starting OL will look like. #iufb

Indiana’s offseason honeymoon ended in a hurry after getting shellacked by No. 18 Iowa 34-6 on the road to open the season.
The Hoosiers were No.17 to start the year and were ranked for the first time in over 50 years in the AP Top-25 preseason poll. They are now unranked.
Indiana hosts Idaho at 7:30 ET on BTN this Saturday.
