At 4-5 this season, Indiana is trying to get to a bowl game while also working in some freshmen the rest of the way.
The Hoosiers are coming off their bye week and getting set to take on Maryland. Unfortunately, the Hoosiers enter Saturday’s game on a four-game losing streak. The last two games have been particularly brutal as Indiana came up just short in each.
As head coach Tom Allen and company get ready for the rest of the season, he listed a number of freshmen that he is hoping to work into game action in the month of November. Thanks to the new redshirt rule, the Hoosiers can play these freshmen the rest of the way and not worry about them losing a year of eligibility.
Mike Miller with The Herald Times shared Allen’s list of players from his Monday press conference:
With redshirt rule and 3 games left, Allen hoping to get frosh LB James Miller, DLs Jonathan King and Madison Norris, CB Noah Pierre, RB Kristian Pechac onto the field this month. #iufb
