Tom Allen is doing everything possible to fill Indiana's Memorial Stadium on Saturday
Securing a bowl berth with their 38-31 victory over the Nebraska Cornhuskers on October 26, Tom Allen is having the best season of his tenure with the Indiana Hoosiers.
Presented with the opportunity to reach the seven-win mark for the first time since 2007, Allen is doing all he can to get students to fill Memorial Stadium for Saturday’s battle with the Northwestern Wildcats.
Caleb Coffman, a junior at the university, shared video of the coach at work in the Indiana Memorial Union, a student union building on-campus:

While Northwestern has won each of the last five meetings, the 2019 Hoosiers appear to stack up favorably across the board. Relying on both redshirt freshman Michael Penix Jr. and redshirt junior Peyton Ramsey, the Hoosiers are averaging 34 points per game, 35th in America.
Just 1-6 on the season, the Wildcats are scoring 10.7 points per contest, last among the 130 FBS programs. Dealing with a personal matter, redshirt sophomore quarterback Hunter Johnson is expected to be available for Saturday’s game.
The No. 2 pro-style prospect in the 2017 class, Johnson transferred to Northwestern in June 2018 after spending his freshman year at Clemson. Appearing in four games, the results for Johnson have been extremely underwhelming. Completing 48.3% of his passes, he has tossed one touchdown and thrown four interceptions.
Set to kick at 7:00PM ET, Saturday’s B1G crossover game will air on FS1.
