Speaking with the media ahead of Saturday’s game with the Maryland Terrapins in College Park, Indiana Hoosiers head coach Tom Allen provided an update on one his offense’s most important players, redshirt senior center Hunter Littlejohn.

Via Taylor Lehman, Indiana recruiting writer for Rivals:

Kevin Brockway of CNHI Sports Indiana shared some options for the Hoosiers if Littlejohn is unable to go:

Leaving the victory over Rutgers on October 12 with an apparent leg injury, Littlejohn could be seen trying to return to the game in the second half.

This would lead one to believe that his hindrance does not seem to be serious and Littlejohn could give it a go vs. the Terrapins.

A product of Olentangy Liberty in Powell, Ohio, Littlejohn was named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List this season. Presented annually to the best center in college football, the award is named after former Nebraska Cornhusker Dave Rimington.

Looking to move within one win of bowl eligibility, Indiana’s battle with Maryland will kick at 3:30PM ET and will be televised on BTN.
